Day 1: Let's get started on the damaged foot!

Day 1.
So I have a crazy sleep schedule. Day 1 might mean something different than Feb 1st, but who cares. I have joined the Gold's Gym 2011 Challenge. I can win my share of $75,000! I can really use it since I have not been working for almost a year. It has been a tough year. Last year I was 210 lbs and diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes, high cholesterol and other maladies. I thought if I could lose some weight, I could stop taking that gross tasting Metformin. It was so gross, but it is better than injections. I lost 30 lbs and was down to 180 lbs in 3 months. But with all my financial woes, and I do mean woes, my weight went back up to 195 lbs. It is not so good since I moved to Vegas. There is this buffet in the South Point Casino that is to die for. Their lunch buffet is only $9.99 and it is all you can eat! I love crawfish and fried shrimp. I went there at least 3 times a week since moving here.

So I ended yesterday with a breakfast buffet at the South Point. It was only $5.95 with free drinks. This was my last chance to gorge. But surprisingly, I only ate 12 bites and gave up. I didn't realize that I wasn't that hungry. I felt full. I think one of the key steps to eating out is to go when you are not that hungry. Or maybe the lesson learned is stop eating when you are not hungry. Or maybe the lesson is don't go to the buffet-wait, that can't be it. Oh man, the South Point Garden Buffet is so good and cheap. That place will get you in trouble. That and the $205 I lost last week.

So I am awake now and am going to the gym later on today after I finish my homework. I am trying to get off on the right foot, but with my diabetes, my right foot is damaged and will take a couple of weeks to heal. I am still going to go, just not work out with too much pressure on my foot. I think it was some bodybuilder who said that it is better to work out incorrectly than not working out at all. Oh my foot. It hurts so bad. But that is loser talk. I need that money.

So here is my motivation:

Strength Stats
Weight before: 172
Weight after: 132
Body fat loss: 11%
Goal reached in 3 months

My goal is to beat her goal! She looks great! I wish I could be her, but then again, I would not be married to my husband. So I wish I could be her and marriend to my husband! She looked cute before and she looks hot after, but then again, she also looked hot before.

This motivation reminds me of a Simpsons episode where Homer is in competition with his idol Thomas Edison:

Here is my verson:

Here are my pictures:

Weight before: 195
Weight after: 190.8
Body fat: 39.5%
Total weight loss: 4.2

Hey I just came out of an all you can eat crawfish buffet when I stumbled into a Gold's Gym - who knew I could hold so much food in me! This picture does not show the severity of my morbid obesity. My body protrudes out not the the side. People usually mistaken me as pregnant!
